WECO North America
WECO was founded in North America in 1983 by Heiner Kammann, our president and CEO, and now offers 27 years of experience in the manufacturing of terminal blocks, electronic modules, connectors for printed circuit boards, and other components related to the electrical and electronics industries.

In 1998, WECO acquired its new head office and manufacturing facility. Our facility is over 50,000 square feet with 39,000 square feet of manufacturing space and the ability to expand further. Our manufacturing system is streamlined to allow us to meet just-in-time programs.
       

WECO’s state of the art manufacturing plant in Baie d’Urfé, Québec, has its own in-house UL and CSA laboratory certified for testing and reporting. It also includes an injection molding operation under the same facility. The advantage to our customer is that the certification lab and the injection molding service have greatly shortened the waiting period for approvals and allows us to develop and introduce new products more quickly and efficiently.

Our automatic screw machines, ultrasonic welding and hot stamping machines have greatly improved our manufacturing process. Our on-going automation of the manufacturing process has allowed us to be more price competitive by reducing labor costs and increasing speed. 

Our engineering department combines both production engineers and design engineers to speed up the design process and to ensure a "design for manufacturability". The engineering department is heavily involved in increasing the level of automation throughout the plant.

Each of our inside sales and customer service representatives are assigned by geographic area, allowing them to establish a long term working relationship with you and your company.

WECO Global
Our German head office is located in Hanau, Germany since 1921. Our global operations offers eight facilities, which includes three manufacturing facilities. They include our manufacturing facilities in Canada, Germany, and Tunisia and our sales offices in France, Hong Kong, Mexico, and Brasil. In addition we offer a an easy access to our sales and services through our extensive network of sales representatives, distributors, and suppliers.
